Wanted Black or Grey E85 3.0i SE Z4

Hi guys,

After finally selling the TT, for far more than I was told to expect by some people on here, it is time to get looking for a Z4!

Musts:

Xenons, heated leather, manual, <55k miles, Grey or Black

Preferences:

Sat nav, uprated sound system, winter pack

I have in and around £6500 to spend. I will be travelling over from Northern Ireland, so will need to ask quite a lot of questions and see quite a lot of pictures, so please bare with me!

Let me know what you have guys!

And is that miles or kilometres, not sure what's used over in NI

NI uses miles, and as far as i know there are no milage restrictions... Unless they plan to later move it to ROI?

Tough getting an facelift (si) for that money.

I have just realised that it is probably meant to be 3.0se, it's one thing I haven't quite got to grips with! Would I be right in thinking that it is meant to be se, or was I right with si?

Either way, from monitoring Auto Trader and on here for the last couple of months I think what I am looking for is fair enough?

Just to confirm the above, we use miles in N.I.
 
3.0 SE is basically the standard 3.0 with a better trim (i.e. Electric Memory Seats, Electric Heated Mirrors, Dimming Mirror iirc)

SI is the SE with engine performance increases.

I have a 2003 3.0 in Black with beige heated leather,64k miles,serviced 2k ago,MOT expires 23/2/13 so will get a full 12 months put on, tax just expired so will tax it from 1/2/13. PM me your email address and I'll send you the full spec and history and some photo's. I only decided to sell over the weekend,so haven't sorted an ad out yet.I'm away in the USA next week, so it won't be going on Autotrader and Pistonheads til early Feb.Should fit into your price range.
 
there is ~30 car on ph for £7k or less and none of them match your description, no offence ,but you want too much for your money
 
I don't. I know you know everything Marius, but I've seen a number of cars matching exactly what I want, before the TT was sold. Nothing has come up yet, but I am not being remotely unreasonable. Have you looked on gumtree or auto trader? There are plenty to choose from but just don't quite tick all the boxes and I may aswell wait.

I thought my TT should have been sold for £4.5k according to you? Try £5850. If you aren't being helpful, no point posting.

I think it'll be a bit of a wait mate tbh.

I bought mine when they were at their lowest price over winter and paid under 6k but it had 68k on the clock no heated seats needed new tyres etc etc but it was black and red which is what I was after.

I'm sure if the weather stays shite you might get one but as soon as spring/summer kicks in prices will hold firm and/or increase so don't wait too long.

It's the heated seats that may be difficult for you (no chance of NAV I'd say) I'd worry less about miles (unless that's an import thing) and more condition/servicing, some on here may have 70-80 miles on the clock but could be immaculate!

Strangely, something has come up today, I have always been willing to consider cars that done tick all the boxes so this one would require me to fit a few things to it, but like you said Pants, its condition and servicing make it worth considering.
 
Looks like I have a car sorted. It is an '03 3.0i in grey with 39k miles. It has no heated seats or xenons. Does that sound fair enough in and around my budget or should I be paying less?
