Wanted Black or Grey 3.0si Coupe

Hi All

My name is Anthony (Tony) and I'm new to the forum but no stranger to BMW. My last car (recently sold) was a Sparkling Graphite Metallic facelift 330ci which I loved, regret parting with but was made an offer I could not reasonably ignore.

The sale however isn't all bad news as it means that I now have the perfect excuse to look for a car that I have always admired, the Z4 3.0si. I am looking for an immaculate (inside and out) very low mile example (30 - 40k miles) in either grey or black. Preferably a later 2008/9 car with electric adjustable heated seats, xenons and if possible possible, professional nav.

I have only recently started my search but if anyone is considering selling or knows of a suitable car please be kind enough to let me know

Many thanks and I look forwarc to becoming an active member on this forum.

Tony

Hi Swiftly, thanks for the welcome.

I've had a quick browse but nothing stands out at present. Patience I guess :)

Took me 6 months before the right one came along, but well worth the wait :D

Budget £10 - £13k. Depends on the car, spec, mileage etc obviously.

The more I think about it I'm edging towards a grey / possibly blue. I've owned 2 black cars in the past and they were a nightmare to keep clean and showed most imperfections.

I hope so Taz but prices seem to be all over the place at present. Will someone please have the decency to sell me their Silver or Stratus Grey 3.0si with black, red or black/ white or other tasteful leather heated electric seats, satnav with 25 to 40k miles for well within my budget

Jokes aside, I would be willing to consider a car with decent mods i.e. different wheels, coilovers, exhaust etc although I would hope that the original parts are available too

I think the mileage is the hardest thing to find in the price point. There are very few coupes under 40k so to find one with exactly what you're looking for will take time. Be patient as I was and you will get what you want..

 +1

LOL it's deifinitely going to be a coupe

Regarding mileage, I know I shouldn't get hung up on numbers as a well maintained higher mileage car can of course be a far better bet than a low miler with questionable history. That said the lower the number the more miles I can do without worrying about it becoming a high miler

I know what you mean, mine had just 19K on it when I bought it, 2 years later its now got 39K, happy times :D :driving:

Got mine at 32k and I've now hit 41k after 2.5 years... I know its nice to keep them low but if you need to drive them then you need to..
