Before I go down the route spending thousands on a big brake kit does anyone have a pair of front callipers or even a set for sale?

Need some extra stopping power on the front.

Update: 3.0si Coupe (track use)

It'll be worth putting a bit more info up dude - what car is it? What do you use it for?

I would suggest for fast road and occasional track use, a decent set of pads and good fluid will make a huge difference on a budget...

If your car isn't a 3.0si, you should be able to pick up the bigger 3.0si discs and calipers(?) for fairly cheap from breakers or ebay - or on here!

Alternatively there are bracket kits which will allow you to run Porsche 996 or Boxster S 4-pot calipers with M discs....

Cheers Ed, writing that first post in a hurry I left out the key info. I'm looking to track my 3.0si so I was just seeing if anyone had any bigger brakes kicking around before I bought some new.

As the 3.0si is a lighter car, you may find an M brake conversion could work well with some Mintex 1144 or Ferodo DS2500 pads? Depends on what length of sessio you'll be doing really I guess! Sounds like fun either way :D

An M brake conversion would involve new suspension struts on the front too, as it's not possible to simply swap the calipers & discs.

One of the D2 4/6-pot kits it probably your cheapest option, and will come with a warranty - about £1050 for a 6-pot 330mm kit like this...

didn't realise that, thanks for inadvertently saving me some cash on Ebay!

Those D2s do look like a good product.... tempting stuff...
