Pop a wanted ad over in the marketplace, that's how I got mine for both Zed's I've had. Definitley a neccessary requirement IMO to have a good playlist without the faff of CD's or the rubbish radio. Hopefully someone will have an unwanted one lying around somewhere. Good luck!

Way better value than the OEM version and it works perfectly for playing music from my iPhone!!!

I installed mine into my ashtray & saved myself a bucket load of £££'s

The only issue I think I will have, is when I tried get to behind the cd player, I couldn't get the vents off so I had to go through the piece of trim that is below the climate controls etc. I doubt that I'll be able to plug in that little 4 pin plug into the correct position from that way

@momo88 Yes that cable will work in your Z4. No unfortunately you will have to remove the air vents & then unscrew the CD headunit to gain access to plug in the cable...
Then you can route the cable down into the ashtray area like I did...

Just to let people that know about my experience with this guy...
I bought the above item however it was the INCORRECT part. After speaking to the ebay seller he told me to send that one back in and he'll send the proper one. Couple days later, it arrived and I had an email letting me know I could contact him with any questions etc.
The block was a 12 pin block and 3 cables (2 red, 1 black). Simple instructions - keep the red cables at the top.
Apparently he doesn't usually do the cables with the 12 pin blocks so he's going to be working on getting a few blocks for future cables.
All in all as irishz4 stated above, this guy is one of the good ones. Very good communication, selling a very simple but very effective product - at a great price compared to others.

If you've got a CD auto hanger, you'll need to move the wires to the existing block. It's a dead easy job and there's a guide on the forum somewhere if you need it

Just kidding, but I dont own any CDs so I just pulled the plug and put this wire in. Works great, only thing I'd say is I have to turn the volume up on the head unit to get a decent volume when on Aux. (Tested using headphone out on Beats Audio HTC One X)
I can also confirm the above ebay seller is very helpful and replies amazingly quickly to ebay messages.
