Wanted - Ashtray insert E85 - (found)

I'm thinking of using the "cigarette holder thingy" as a holder for an aux in cable as I don't think the BMW part is still available. Might need to cut the bottom of it a little.

I'm sure I've seen that before - maybe on another forum? The biggest issue seemed to be that you can't close the lid with any cables connected. Almost needs a spare lid you can cut slots in to feed the cables through (or route them down and out the sides).

Thought I had one but the insert is missing, sorry!
Bought unit last year to replace faulty lid, if the switches as any use to anyone give me a shout!

Does the fault lie with the lid itself or the unit supporting it?, my lid is badly scratched and don't fancy buying a complete unit. Would be great if I could use your plastic lid on my unit. If that makes sense? Obviously happy to pay for it, cheers
