Wanted and For Sale

Is it worth considering splitting the current For Sale section into a Wanted Section and a For Sale section?

Just a thought as seeing a lot of wanted ads lately.

A meeting ? do you meet at a pub or do you take turns and meet at each others houses. Is it a secret location Collin :wink:
 
I don't want to split the for sale sections up, there are already enough sections. I'm looking into a way of making the For Sale and Wanted posts stand out from each other though. Currently testing it and there are a few niggles to iron out, but it should work well.

That's a great idea, like having to add a 'wanted' or 'for sale' tag to you ad before you can post it.
 
What about ‘No Longer Wanted or Required’ or something? There should be an option to close out a Wanted thread? For Sale —> Sold. Wanted —> xxx?

No movement on the above? I had to edit the title in my wanted thread to specify it's no longer required. Shame you can't close it out like a "SOLD" tag. I've also noticed a few other members have done the same.

"No Longer Wanted" has been added I see - I'm guessing not long after you made the post above this one (not the post I'm quoting)...

Could also do with a GONE tag perhaps? Eg, FREE --> GONE

Just something to tag when a free item has been be claimed/given to someone
