Wanted- alloys for my Z4 anyone??

Hi

Just got a black Z4 with SE 16" alloys, but would like something abit more sexy, the ones I have are perfect with 2 nearly new tyres, but hey maybe use them in winter or sell them, anyone have any for sale or know a good place to buy an affordable set? When I have them I will put a pic with my profile, until then I will have to wait to save the shame..........

Jay

I think they look fricken awesome already!!
But i think every1 is used to the fact by now that i shall never part with my alloys
Unless someone donates lol!

Lol @woots

I think the ride might be a little too hard if I got 19's, think 17s would be great or 18s if anyone has some or knows a great place to buy replica's at a sensible cost

The ride's pretty good on the 19"s - the best thing was getting rid of the run flats. My other half has a 2.0 Z4 and mine running the 19"s with normal tyres is much better than hers with the 18*s and RFTs.

thanks, although have checked there before, think they maybe rather expensive, they want 700 just for a set of refurb composites and thats without any tyres, seen them sell refurbed on ebay with tyres for less than 600, thanks for the suggestion though

BM Autosport come highly recommended. Got mine from them and the refurb is of a great quality. IMO much better to spend and extra £100 going with an established dealer of wheels rather than taking your chances with the bargains of flea bay. That's just my opinion thou

Agree, Mark has been around for a few years and only a couple of mile from where I live so I'm always looking at the site first.

Having bought wheels from eBay in the past I would agree with the first comment and I have heard good things about BM Autosport on other forums (although never dealt with the company personally).

I sold my old wheels to BM autosport and my dealing with Mark was good. Didnt buy from them though...

I agree its good to find a trusted and reputable dealer and he sounds a good guy compared to many out there these days, its a shame its not a bit cheaper there that's all as after hearing your comments I would buy there, although in my opinion and thats all it is, original bmw wheels are original bmws wheels, as long as they are straight and true (which is easy to check and paypal protects with long distance selling laws) Im not sure paying more for the same second hand product is worth doing and I wouldn't buy replicas from anyone these days.

hint hint guys and gals, I would consider buying yours if you have any or use ebay to sell them hehe, it doesnt put me off you might be using ebay to sell your quality wheels.....

I've just bought a set of new Ellipsoid 107's from Alloy wheels direct.

http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/

More than I meant to pay, but as they are new it takes the worry/disappointment element out of the equation, well almost they still have to be delivered!.

you can't talk to them/him by phone but email response was quick.

Good hunting, patience is the key, I spent 2 days hunting before leaping on these at twice my initial budget. :D .......Just had to have Ellipsoids!......
