Wanted: 3rd brake light

Hi Guys,

The brake light on my z4 has been the subject of some vandalism and the lense been chipped off on both corners where I guesss someone has tried to pry it out with a screw driver. Anyway..I'm looking to replace it, preferably with a red one.

Trying to keep costs down, so seeing if anyone has one kicking about rather than buying it new from the dealer.

I't not worth buying used really as you have no idea how long it will last. these fail easily as we know.

Bite the bullet and get a new one with warranty.

I had to take my new one back after 2 months as it failed, not in the usual place though.
 
aye it's not vandalism it's the tension on the springs, same happened to mine same place, completely fell apart on removal :lol:

i'd just get the clear one fwiw
 
Though I sold my red when I changed for clear - I figured if it's been on for 9 years and not broken it should be alright but change the springs anyway regardless of new/old for peace of mind.
