Wanted - 3.0SI Sport Roadster

Good afternoon all.

We are on the lookout for a well looked after (preferably member owned) manual 3.0SI Sport Roadster. Milage preferably below 60,000.

Ideally we are after black with black interior but not a deal breaker if not. M-sport seats are a must but no other options are essential.

We are based in Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire but are willing to travel for the right car. If anyone has or knows of a car that ticks the boxes please get in touch!

Thanks

Hi,

There's no set budget really, it depends on the car's condition, age and milage.

However, we're probably leaning towards a 2006/2007.

Thanks

I would like an M but as an all-year daily driver and comparing the running/maintainance costs I just can't justify it.

Although I have never driven the S54 engined Z4 I have had the pleasure of using a Z3M so I hope I know what I'm missing and don't regret it! Our other car is a 3 series with the N52 lump so the SI is an engine we know and like.

Yeah, I'd talked to the owner quite a bit about that one but it sold the day before I was due to see it!

Thanks

Ah, gutted! If you don't have much luck with private sales you could always go and see a dealer car in the low £10ks and then haggle + get them to throw in as many extras as possible (early inspection 1/2 service, bodywork fixes, rubber mats etc).

I'm not usually a fan of buying from a dealer. I always see it as paying extra for less transparent history (in terms of care for the car) and a warranty that often won't pay out if it is required. I'm sure there are some great cars with dealers/BMW but I'd rather not take the risk (not that buying private is risk free!).
