WANTED: 3.0si Roadster

Hi all, been looking for a 3.0si roadster for a couple of months with no luck up to now. Had a few near misses where I was the first to be too late, however.

I'm looking for it to be:

- black/grey/silver
- any interior colour (except maybe the blue)
- max 75k on the clock
- in decent condition with FSH
- budget of up to around £8500

I know they're few and far between so might be a waiting game but if anyone could point me in the right direction or if I could persuade somebody looking to sell it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Tom.

Apologies completely slipped my mind. I wouldn't class anything as a must have, it's the car and the engine that's got me hooked! Heated seats would be nice but like I said nothing is a 'must-have'.

Manual or auto?

Having just 4 and 3 days ago respectively bought a Z4M Roadster and an Alpina Roadster S in quick succession, I might be putting my Z4 3.0Si up for sale....which I was not previously intending to do (as you'll see from the page on my website).

However, it has only got 55 or 56K miles on the clock (IIRC), has 4 virtually new Goodyear AS2s, it had an Insp II Service by the supplying dealer when I bought it 2 years ago and had covered only approx. 3-4K miles in those two years.

When I bought it I paid up-front for 3 years transferable Warranty in advance; so it still has nearly a full year of warranty in place. A condition of maintaining this warranty was that I have it serviced at least every 2 years (irrespective of miles covered) and hence it has just been in for a further Oil Service (despite the service indicator showing it still had something like 12,000 miles to go until the next service).

It's just having a full 12 Months put on it as well.

It is in very good condition (please see the photos): http://www.bmwclassics.co.uk/gallery/index.php?spgmGal=Z4_30Si_Roadster

The downside is that based on the above I'm afraid I want a bit more than the upper limit of budget to part with it. Spring and Summer are coming and I intended to use this car for Sundays and Holidays, as I won't be necessarily using the Z4M or Alpina much.

You did do it right...but TBH I think you may be better off pursuing the one Mr Wilks and Srhutch posted above. It seems like an absolute giveaway at that price and well within your budget.

I also would'nt rule out a 2.5Si as they can offer good value & are not that far off in performance terms
This with hardtop & imola/black trim is a nice example http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=94955

In rare Ruby Black as well.

Derin100. Do you have a number I can call you on? I cannot pm as I have a new account. How much is the e89 up for? Where are you based?

Thanks
