Hello all,
Currently got an '03 Roadster, which I bought high-mileage and cheaply as a weekend car. Now I'm commuting as well (~12 miles each way along some pretty nice roads) and ideally want a different car.
After weeks of searching classifieds, magazine reviews and so on, I think that the only thing I want is another Z4, so therefore I fancy an upgrade, to a newer/fresher car with some of the options I originally wasn't worried about.
So, I'm after a spec like the following:
Must-haves
Nice-to-haves
You may be wondering why I haven't split the roadster/coupe requirement - in truth I can see the merits of both, and enjoy having the top down an awful lot, and it can work for me from a practicality perspective. However, a coupe would be more sensible given the less compromising space, plus the roof will be easier to keep clean!
Basically, the right car can be either, with the caveats mentioned above (IE heated seats for a roadster) and I'd be happy.
Cheers,
Simon

Must-haves
- Xenons - current car has these!
- Sports seats, heated if in a roadster, and preferably in red or one of the stone/beige colours
- MFSW
- Manual
- Ideally less than 50k miles, and no more than 60k
Nice-to-haves
- Not Sterling Grey, Black, Stratus Grey, Silver Grey or Space Grey - am partial to the Bright Red and the Montego Blue
- Hard top if a roadster
- Bluetooth prep
- 10 speaker upgrade
- Non-runflats ideally, the ride's firm enough as it is!
- Electric folding mirrors would be nice due to the places I have to park.
- It'd be nice to have a dashboard with a finish other than brushed aluminium
