Wanted 3.0 z4

Hi all,

I'm looking for a 3.0 z4 preferably with less than 70000 on the clock and sat nav. Was hoping for a different colour from the silver or grey but for a good example I would still consider. I wondered if anyone might be able to help with this or point me in the direction of a good website if no one comes forward. I have tried all the standard websites but have found very few. I am open to any car though and money is flexible. Just got rid of an s2000 and a TT so don't want a crazy z4m just yet.

Anyone who can help, I would be greatly appreciative as I want to be in one of these cars as soon as possible.

Cheers

Sorry should have mentioned I am looking for the first shape of the z4 facelift or not. Have around 10000 to spend but was hoping for around 7500 so I have money left for a hardtop.

Gumtree, piston heads, autitrader, ebay..,, here ... I am looking for 3.0si but so few only there... Non of them I like ... Good luck

I've just bought one (from a member here), but was sorely tempted by this one too:

Hi there I have looked at this one many times but wasn't sure if that was an aftermarket front bumper :s showing how little I know lol. I am looking at one tomorrow, so hopefully it will be good. Thanks for the welcome and hopefully I ll have a car to show soon. I know this is off topic is their a way to check if the z4 is hardtop compatible ? Any nice creature comforts I should look for ?

I think that's the facelifted front bumper - so clearly a replacement over the original since it's a 2004 car. Maybe accident damage?

That car has had some cash & time thrown at it , sport seats + doorcards not original to the car ( worth upwards of £750 if you wanted to revert to standard)
, its been lowered ( looks like wheels have spacers fitted ?) & as spotted the front bumper is the facelifted version ( not as nice as the round fog version :poke: )
No reason's to avoid it just make sure the servicing & repairs have also been taken care of

Actually, these mods would put me off. The ground clearance looks really marginal - wouldn't want to be riding too many speed bumps or parking it near kerbs with it that low. Maybe that sort of thing makes sense in a track car, but not for everyday road use (IMHO).

Gotta agree mate , there are many cars that have been lowered or slammed that then ride like a cow in wellies
a car modified or changed wouldn't necessarily put me off viewing but i would be wary of the way it drove more so than a standard example
That said a tastefully lowered car with the right kit can look & drive supreme
Enjoy your search & feel free to offer up any possibles

Thanks for all the replies. The car I'm going to see tomorrow is an 03 or 53 plate with extremely low mileage. Unfortunately I have read about the problems with sticky steering is there a way to test it before I buy. Any other things to check. The roof motor has already been done so that saves me some cash hopefully.

Cheers all,

Please excuse lack of knowledge but I read lots on Internet and somethings only apply to US models.

Hi there, I have my wife's car for sale here on the forum. 30l 53 plate with SMG gearbox and fully loaded. Well below your budget.

Cheers just to keep everyone updated I bought a 03 plate 3.0 with 40000 miles and fbmwsh really happy and glad to be part of the craze. Next on the list is a hardtop if anyone has one going would be great to have a chance to purchase one.

Congratulations on reaching the end of stage 1. To progress to stage 2 you have to post pics!

Hope you have deep pockets for the hardtop. On EBay they seem to be going for around £1,000
