You must have money to burn if you are considering new. Sets come up on here quite often. You just need a little patience, and then be quick when they do.

Bing picked mine up only last week and are now fitted to his car. :D
 
A set will come up,you just need to be patient and quick as srhutch has just said.I have picked up a set recently as Bing and Terry have :)
 
As said above, patience is key here. I've bought two sets on here, both times I felt like I'd not seen a set for sale in ages and then boom, they appeared.

Don't buy new, unless you like burning money.

I did indeed :lol There is a set on eBay now, there was a £500 buy it now price but someone bid. They are currently at £360!

That is (no offence intended) an absolutely daft amount of money to spend on wheels that can be got so much cheaper.

I sold Jan a set, in need of a < £300 refurb, for £300.

So he'll have the exact same product (you get a warranty with a decent reputable refurb) for approx £600

Wow, more expensive than brand new CSLs!!

CSLs run at about £1700 without any discount.

A top condition set could be had 2nd hand for £700-800, I'd wait a while.
 
New wheels direct from BMW are very very expensive - a set of new 108s will sting you about £2,100. Which is why the ones I have for sale for £350 are such a great deal :D

Have you tried BM Autosport ? They haven't got any 224s on their site right now but you might get lucky if they have a set waiting to be refurbed. You might even get them with tyres for less than a grand, going by the prices of other wheels on there.
