Wanted: 2.5 or 3.0 Z4 Low Mileage FBMWSH

Ladies and Gents,

Sold my car a few days ago and I'm looking for a BMW Z4 3.0 or 2.5.

Preferences include:

Low mileage: 40k or so
SMG if possible - failing that I'll consider either manual or auto
As many options as possible (sat nav, air con, heated seats etc)
54/55/56 plate
Ideally not too many previous owners
FBMWSH
Dark exterior (certainly not red - perhaps merlot red)
Leather interior (preferably beige)

Budget: c.£12k-12.5k

Welcome to the forum... good choice of car and a good place to start!

Have a look at the FAQ in the General Discussion if you haven't already. Also you'll see what you can retro fit... those important options. There's a lot of knowledge on here so there will be How Tos for a lot of them.

Also, I love my 2.5, it's a great car, but, engine aside, the 3.0 will give you more toys for your money.

Tugtaylor - I actually saw your car previously (prior to registering) and it looks lovely. My own preference is not the maldives blue (toledo is more my thing, I'm afraid). And as lady-like as it may sound, I love the sat nav addition and would probably regret not having it. Other than that, it's a great looking car!

Pawnsacrifice - thanks for the tips! I'll have a look at the FAQ. I thought this would be a relatively painless exercise ... but there are far too many variables that stem from Private/Trade/Dealership - I've decided to go with dealership, but then to take it to HR Owen to get a full approval done (a friend works there). Private should hopefully get me more toys!

I did see a car I like - it's in very good condition (bar a scratch on the side and small dent on the front). 3.0, 04, low mileage, sat nav, SMG, electric heated seats ... but I felt the price was too high £13k.

I have a 3.0 z4 which fits quite a lot of your requirements. However it is a on 53 plate, with black leather. It has the full BMW service history. I bought it from a dealer myself.

Psychologically, 03 is too old for me. 2004 would be the lowest I would go - but your car sounds great. I do agree that while the mileage is low, the sale price is a little optimistic but wish you the best on it.

Keep searching i just got a 2004 one yesterday for what i thought a bargin price>>>

Yes -thats the one...

Amazing car....still smells like new.....

Lucky i woke up at 5.30am and drove 150miles....very genuine car...previous owner brought from BMW and only drove it 3k miles in about 8 months.

So was it a good price.
 
need some wheels...if anyones got anything...that old cliche...csl type 19" also would love clear from headlights (maybe someone would be kind enough for a fee to mod my ones).
