Hi guys, new to the forums and ive been thinking about it for a while and now its time to take the plunge into owning a Z4 so thought the best place to start looking is here :)

im after 2.5-3.0 (2006 onwards) and got my heart set on it being white.... i understand these are rare but will just have to see how this thread goes...

not really sure on what specs yet as like i say, depends on how many there are on offer so may have to compromise on certain specs if needed.

my budget is £6,000 and could possible go up to £10,000 depending on year/mileage/spec etc

any offers/suggestion or help greatly appreciated

Good Luck with your search mate, you wont find a 2006 onwards car though for £6000 i wouldnt have thought. I think you will have to use the extra cash you have.

yea originally i was looking for a black/silver for around the 6k mark but the more i look at white zeds the more i want 1 so if the right 1 comes along im willing to go up to around 10k (but obvs for that kind of money i would have to be very happy with whats on offer)

thanks for ur reply :)

BUMP

I have to admit maybe I was being ambitious now I`ve had time to search around and not have much luck finding many White Z4`s under 10k

what are people opinions on this?

Not a fan personally, also not the engine you were after either but its up to you to decide whats more important colour or engine.

yea i know its a 2.0 it just seems a little cheap for whats offered (even if its a cat D) just wondered if there was anybody out there that could see a reason why that i never noticed :)

im sure this exact same car was on there a month ago for £9,500 then disappeared so assumed it sold and now its back £600 cheaper...... seems fishy lol

It is a black car that has been "dipped" - I assume plastidipped.

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

how can you tell?

i had a feeling there was something odd about it, glad i asked opinions on here tho as defo staying clear!

thanks

when i 1st started looking into getting a Z i had my heart set on a white 1, the more i look i have realised that for a little less money u can get a lot more car in non white, theres a lovely black z up for sale on here for about 8k which looks miles better than that white 1..... im thinking i need to change my requirements :)

for instance this white Z ...

doesnt look no where near as good as this black z for only £500 difference...

Some of the panels could also be a different colour if you removed the plastidip (again assuming this is what they have done)

Echo above though unless you have photos of the car being dipped and are prepared to remove at some point when it get tatty, and it will.

just realised i said how do you know its been dipped, then re-read the line where it says "this car has been dipped" hahaha my bad :headbang:

A useful tool, enter the reg and manufacturer and you get the car specs. I regularly check up on my previous cars :tumbleweed:
