I bit the bullet and ordered one from Sopers of Lincoln...was about £40 (Inc forum discount) but free delivery and it looks the nuts !!!Cov_Lee said:Title says it all really. My exhaust looks a bit tired and think a cover would spruce it up a bit so if anyone was getting shot of one I'd be interested...
Thanks.

I like the sound of that ! Who did the work?ESP said:When i bought my 2.0 Z4 i was also looking for exhaust trims to no avail,
I ended up getting a twin-pipe custom Stainless steel back box made and fitted for £160
Looks so much better

The facelift has slightly larger diameter exits compared to the pre-facelift cars. The chrome ones you have are for the pre-facelift 6 cylinder engined Z4s.
Out of interest, are you looking to sell these tips? If so, how much for?
Andrew.
Ha -i remember ringing my stealer up and asking for the oval trim iirc it came in around the thick end of £50,"no" i replied "you must be quoting me for the wrong part, its only a small piece of chrome to fit -on the end of the exhaust"-"no sir that is the correct price for the correct part!" :roll:Cov_Lee said:Well at least someone made a sale out of this thread!![]()
Justlovethelook - Yeah if noone shows up here with 2nd hand going cheap - birthday's in May so might put it on the wish list. Good to know that they sound worth it in terms of sprucing up the look.
ESP - Thanks for the advice but struggling to justify the £40 let alone 160 - need new front pads and discs now as well so the cash will be flowing!
