Hi All,

Require complete set of runflats for 108s, so:
255 35 18 x 2
225 40 18 x 2

Any ideas as dont fancy spending 15% of the cars value on tyres?

Thanks

I'll try to be helpful here. You can get non run flats much cheaper... They will improve the ride quality considerably

I know, i have looked into it and done alot of forum reading this time and the last time they needed changing after getting fed up with the steering have its own mind although for a good set of tyres they are not that much cheaper, and with no spare and driving like how the car should be driven, feel safer with the rfts.

Also i heard the new gen Michelins and Bridgestones are lot better, the former more so.

Your call mate. I have tyre gunk to help me out if I ever get a puncture.

You can get a full set of Falken 452s for c.£450? Just a thought

Michelins brilliant
Bridgestone new Gen ,3G what ever they call it apparently still a year out for OEM and likely more for general after market

My Dealer Tyre Specialist was discussing with Bridgestones ,remembering the RE050 is the only RFT BMW support for the Z4 therefore a good relationship between the two Companies
so I have no reason not to believe him

Gunk & a compressor is exactly what you get with an ///M so that's what I did on my old car with a set of Falken 452's

Forget the RFT,S ! Changed mine last year to Falken 452,s . The drives so much better.Small comp & tyre weld in boot.

Go for non runflats and use gunk and compressor I have got Bridgestone runflats 21k usage and rubbish they pick up every rut inthe road .

Sorry went against the advice and got RE050A1 all round.... michelins were more money and approx £100 more and bridgestones are more available if I ever need just the one.
