Wanted 16-18" wheels and rft's

I'm looking at alternatives for my daughters 1 series.
Car should have 17 or 18" rims but is on 16"

I'm therefore looking for a set of 4x 17" or 18" Z4 rims with perhaps minor kerbing and good run flats.

Happy to pay up to £400 for something suitable (which is what it will cost to buy 2 tyres and sort existing rims)

Alternative is some 16" run flats if you have 2 or more to sell.

I currently have one rear 18" RFT (a Michelin I think) and will take the front Bridgestone RFTs off soon. They are all good - went through BMW approved used car scheme and MoT 2 months ago. PM me if you are interested.

Good choice , ,nice looking wheel , , why not ditch the RF idea though & go on standard rubber ?
Or better still a decent winter tyre that you can run all year ?

Yes - they look nice for the 1 Series.

I would go non RFT, but they are for my daughter who will be driving in and out of Birmingham from dark open car parks and part motorway and dual to home. She wants the secirity of not having to worry until home if she gets a flat tyre.


Now to source 4 decent RFT's or bite the bullet and spalsh £600 on brand newies for her...

All sorted - thanks for offers and comments

Wheels to be shipped Tuesday and tyres arriving on Monday.

Ended up with Miss CJ agreeing that RFT's are not mandatory and we can do better without them and the usual combos of Recovery service, spares, goo and even Dad's taxis

Opted for Falken ZE914's as a less sporty than the 452/453 and more economical better in the wet, etc. Came out at £300 Vs over £500 for RFT's

My 108's are coming off at the beginning of November, if your interested.

All 4 have been refurbished, chrome powered lips with silver centres. 3 wheels are perfect, one has a crack/stress impact in the laquer from what looks like something hitting it, stone etc, about 5mm in diameter.

If there are no takers for wheel and tyres combo then I will split them down. Tyres have covered 3k and are the oem Bridgestone.
