Hi chaps,

Recently started a diy refurb of some 108's i recently acquired, but have already managed to shear one of the bolts.

So if anyone has any spare, that would be great :)

I have one. Shame you're so damn far away. Can post, but I warn you, I'm useless at posting things.

Haha ok, have any more than one? Two wheels split fine, I managed to strip the head on another, and one sheared so easily I think it was already bust and glued back on!

In need of three so far hehe :-P

i have a few kicking around. if you wanna speed up the process, feel free to pm me and ill give you my address to send a stamped address envelope to me. that said im away til monday but i can send after that!

Once I've got my wheels back and taken the relevant ones apart I should have a fair few spares. You only need three?

Three at the moment, I have one more wheel to take apart so hopefully there won't be any more disasters! :P

Thanks imp, I'm not in a particular rush as I reckon it'll take a couple of weeks to strip and repaint!

Any tips on getting the remainder of the broken bolt out? :P

if youre not in a hurry then ill be able to just drop what you need in the post

Cool, I'll strip the last remaining one this weekend and hopefully I won't need more than 3! :)

Can paypal you some cash to cover the cost of postage and bolts :)

As said, I've got some so feel free to ask when you know how many you need.

As for getting the bolt out, a member on here tried this for me recently....

Basically you need a pillar drill, then run a 2/3mm bit straight down the middle (IT REALLY HAS TO BE THE MIDDLE) of the bolt, then a 6mm.

Once you've run a 6mm down there you should just be left with remains. Then run a 7mm tap down it.

It's a lot of hassle but possible.
