Want a PS4

Resogun is superb very addictive game everyone I know with a PS4 loves it classic old school gaming.

Being honest I have always preferred Playstation I had a PS3 and Xbox 360. I found more games I enjoyed on the PS3 and I got sick of the 360 breaking I had 3 of them in a short space of time. I know they had issues early on but by the time I got a working one I was happy with the PS3 and the 360 just collected dust before ending up on eBay.

Really it comes down to what first party exclusives you want to play. So many games are cross platform now.

all very valid points.

i cancelled my pre-order when MS did their E3... didn't quite make it over to ps4, but the thought was in my mind.

With the recent price drop of the One (matching PS4 now), the industry is set for another raft of bundle offers; with Sony, probably around the upcoming Destiny release.

I've had one since release and it is good, the games let it down though. I only really play BF4 and COD online and although BF4 is excellent with up to 64 players COD is hit and miss.
Considering you have to pay to play online now COD is full of bugs and sometimes near impossible to play online.

I bought a launch day PS4 but recently traded it for an XBone.

As mentioned above, the controller battery life is pretty shite and it annoyed me that all the decent games were delayed.

Drive Club does look awesome, Forza Horizon 2 has a fight on.

Ye Im waiting for some decent releases! Why they left Gran Tourismo on the PS3 is beyond me would have been a great opening title!

Feel that Gran Turismo is being left behind by Forza, they definitely need to up their game if they are to match the overall experience and depth Forza gives. Gran Turismo simply looks good, which isn't enough these days.

I bought one on a friday evening whim the other week, along with BF4. Played it less than a couple hours so far (just been on hols) but its good. Graphics are very good.

Its not cheap, but if you want a quick BF4 type fix like I did its gonna be fine. It will sit under your TV for the next 10yrs so the initial purchase price isn't so bad over its lifetime.

I bought one at launch, hardly played any games on it but used it for Netflix...

One thing that sucks compared to PS3 is no media server/dlna streaming capability 'as yet'... They have said they will add it, but no timeframe as yet :(

Thanks all. I walked into GAME yesterday and nearly pulled the trigger on one. Only thing that stopped me was their online deals are better and if I want CoD then I may as well get the best bundle i can without it then buy Future Soldier later in the year.

Just bought my lad a PS4 this week for his birthday.
Now discovered that the Samsumg TV he uses hasn't got an HDMI input.

Now have to start looking at a new TV or a major household TV re-shuffle
It's working out more expensive than we anticipated !!
