Walnut blasting

Has anyone had there inlet valves walnut blasted to remove the carbon build up that these turbo direct injection motors can suffer with ?
Symptoms can be a slight lumpy cold start as the extra fuel that is dumped in doesn't atomize properly.
It's quiet an involved process.
Wondered if anyone has had it done apart from a better cold start could you feel any other improvements ?

Yeah I've heard it smoothes things out a bit. My local bmw Indy guy will be doing mine top guy, knows his stuff

It is now yes....Our Nige had to think fast on his feet and change the meaning once he realised he’d initially posted his question on completely the wrong forum......naughty boy.....

when I was researching walnut blasting there wasn't that much info on it. imagine how many poor sods are gonna get excited about this topic coming up in a search only to realise it doesn't really provide much info on the actual subject.
