looks a decent route taking in most of the best roads and places to stop off

That's Number5s route above but mine virtually mirrors it but with overnight stay in Llanarmon tomorrow & Beddgelert Saturday .
Evo triangle Sunday Amon route home via Blaenau Ffestiniog

Enjoy Mr Wilks.
I look forward to seeing all the photos and reading all about it from the forums own Mr Clarkson :driving:

Very jealous! My favourite road is the A470 north of Ffestiniog (Crimea Pass). A great combination of sweeping bends, scenery and minimal traffic. Also check out Pete's Eats if you're in Llanberis. Proper food and pints of tea!

Still touch and go whether we'll make it to RallyGB this year. Last year was a total washout (even by Welsh standards). Weather looks pretty good for you though... have fun! :)

Some great roads Andy  I must sort a North Wales run for next Spring, there's pics on here somewhere of 30 + Zeds parked up on the triangle on a forum run back in 2009/10 .
Hope you enjoy, watch out for unmarked Plod in both cars and a bike, been pulled once but let off because I slowed to 30 going through village!

Do not miss the B4391, Ffestiniog towards Capel Celin, best road in Wales!
Do it every year with the annual NSX weekend gathering.

This week around the Trawsfynydd power area their are military exercises taking place involving troops from all over the world.I am not sure if it will be finished by the w/e.With any luck you could see some spectacular low flying.
The road from Bala to Trawsfynydd is one of my favourite roads.Watch out for camera vans on the outskirts of Bala and Ceriydrydion.
Hope the dry weather holds out for you.

agreed on the bala road. Also, the scenery has a bit of New Zealand about it. A bit timeless. :)

Had a top day today in Snowdonia

Some great roads & rugged scenery ,in parts very reminiscent of the Lakes but with minimal geriatrics in Honda's which was a bonus

Glad the weather held! I used to do a loop of the Evo (after the B5105 from Ruthin) and a few of the smaller B-roads on the other side of A5 (B4406, B4407, B4391) if I'd had a rough day in work and needed to clear my head; though the road surfaces these days are far worse than they used to be after a string of bad winters a few years back!

Nice photos Mr Wilks. The scenery is beautiful and your car looks great. Looks like your having a good time.

Spotted this Z on a wander through the village earlier , fine fettle SG although the 108s black on black were heavily kerbed

Quick one for those who know the area , tomorrow we head home from Beddgelert , would you recommend heading via Llanberis & Capel Curig road to the Evo triangle or head east first then via Blaenau Ffestiniog ?
Bearing in mind i did the route up to Llanberis pass this afternoon ? although id happily repeat it :) :driving:
