Wales on the 5th - Convoy from Manchester

So who's up for meeting in Manchester and convoying over on the 5th?

I propose Stockport Tesco again (easy to find, en-route for those coming over Snake-Pass, and reasonable priced 99 octane go-juice)...
Google Maps reckons 45 mins from Stockport to the meet point. So aim to be there 8.30/8.45 to leave at 9 latest.

Sheffield/Other-side-of-the-peaks lot: If you're not coming over Snake Pass and planning on a different route (perhaps Cat & Fiddle?)... let us know, there may be a better place for us to meet (Knutsford?)

Meet Point : Tesco Stockport, SK1 2BT (Jctn 27 if heading North on M60, Jctn 26 if heading south)
Time : 8.30 (this means you, Siftah!)

heh, my phone number is displayed pretty prominently on my site anyway (needs to be for new clients to get in touch) so doesn't really matter too much :)
 
Yep - Tesco worked fine for me last time - bringing the misses this time, so you'll have to shelter elsewhere this time!

I'm up for tagging along from here too, I'm stopping at Birch the night before, picking a mate up from Prestwich on the morning and was going to head straight over to Wales but would prefer to do it in convoy! :D

Yup, looks like it's just the 3 of us!

Well, Siftah's in Italy at the mo as those on twitter or facebook will be well aware (& intensely jealous) of... I reckon he'll be up for meeting, if he can drag his lazy arse out of bed this time ;)

Taz can't really read, so we'll just have to wait for his helper to notice this thread and let's hope he'll join us.

No word from the gang from the wrong side of the Peaks?
 
Still undecided whether I'm doing this or not, can I can confirm Saturday night, as if I come I'll be driving from Teeside and it's only a short detour to meet up with you guys, but I would imagine I would be closer to 9:00am than 08:30.

just noticed you drive a 2.5ltr, that explains why it will be closer to 9, we understand

We're putting off the DIY for 1 day - to do some :driving: with some :friends: - You know it makes sense ! You know John sets up some very decent routes, and you missed out on the last two (might have to hand in your forum licence if you strike out three times !)

p.s. Siftah's coming back from Italy just to take part (and to see some band the night before) - just seen his post on FB.
 
i will speak to the mrs and try and get a pass out, she may even come with me - to check i behave :)

Yeah Taz... DIY will still be there when you get back.
You can do the DIY any time, but happy-fun-forum-time only comes round every couple of months...

Plus, we all miss you woads and woads!

Guys... if he says he's not coming, meeting point changes to 7.30, at Taz's house. Lots of revving, beeping of horns and eventual breaking & entering followed by dragging Taz out of bed, placing him behind the wheel of his tin-top and dragging him up the M56 should see us at the meeting point on time ;)
