Sometimes, work is not too bad :)

Spending a week in the US working, whilst the family is trying to spend it all :)

Got a very nice apartment provided by the company, with a 270 degree view over Manhattan. Stunning.

No, did not feel the quake but everyone had to evacuate the buildings.

This is the 50th floor, on 38 East between 1 and second. Great location :thumbsup:
 
I know ... have been provided with torches and the windows have had reinforcing pins inserted. Bought water and other stuff.

No doubt will have trouble flying back on monday :(
 
E89 owners from Z Post forum have been talking about putting car cover over their car if it cannot be garaged.
 
Lived in Manhattan for 3 years... Great place to live for a few years, but must admit by the end i had had enough...
 
At least my building was not evacuated, did not fancy that bit what so ever.

I think this hurricane is what we call a slight draft in the UK ...

Saved on the shopping though: :)

After seeing pvr's pic it got me looking through some holiday pics from a few years back,we didn't wake up to this but this is what greeted us when we arrived at our apartment simply stunning imo :thumbsup:
