Last summer swapped out all the interior lamps in the zed
I think I got my current led replacements from Amazon that actually game from the far east,
Anyway one of the number plate lamps has failed, but also noticed that they can stay dimly light after locking the car
Indy garage I use mentioned to use COB LED chip on board, can anyone recommend a seller of this type of lamp
Thank you

Do you want number plate lights? Get the OE ones from the 1 series, £25 all in with new connectors.

My LED sidelights also stay on after lock/unlock for a little while.

Had thought about doing the 1 series lights, which led side lights did you go for, thanks steve

Well worth it, proper units that are worth the premium. Osram LEDs in warm white. I coded out the blub checks as these are not CANBUS i.e. still draw 5W - my aim was to be able to leave them on overnight while also matching the HIDs.

As said, for the number plate lights, get the OEM 1 series units. Much better than sticking led's in the original housings.

I out osram led's in my sidelights, but the car didn't like them, so I gave up and removed them. I've had ebay canbus bulbs and they worked fine, until they burnt themselves out.

Are the Series 1 LEDs a straight plug-and-play? Cheers

Not quite, you need new connectors. Use a small screwdriver to release the wiring socket from the old one and clip into new connector.
If you ask Soper for the new units they will know what connectors you need. Came to £25 all in when I got them.
