VW Group Employee Car Scheme

Hi all!

I've recently been offered a role at a manufacturer within the VW Group.

One of the main perks is access to the employee car scheme, however, I've not been given detail on what cars are included and how much it will cost per month (the rates are competitive apparently!)

So, are there any VW Group employees on here that can cast any light?

Would love to know what cars are available at the moment and how much they cost per month!

I cant help with VW but my dad works for a subsidiary of Tata and as such was eligible for a 15% discount on many Jags & Land Rovers, 10% on the more premium cars and 0% on the best / newest models. There was also a preferential repayment rate but I didnt really pay much attention that sorry. Overall it still wasnt enough to tempt me to buy an evoque

A friend manages a VW dealership...and apparently they get almost the same deal most punters get.

When I worked for Audi they always emailed me with the deals. They weren't cheap enough to justify getting one over my own car or even a normal lease though.

Mate of mine gets this through his sister who works at VW. Cars are usually cheap (e.g he had a GTI Golf for about £150 a month I believe) but IIRC you have to take out VW Group Insurance, which was a lot more than you'd get on the high street (£700 VW vs £300 high street).

Still made sense financially apparently and you get a new car every 6 months. Order early though to get the car you want, otherwise you end up with some s**t. He's had a couple of diesel jettas in his time...
