this could be a challenge, get a pic of a z4 with the vulcan in the skies above

We could always add a monthly theme to the Calendar Comp to make it more interesting !
i.e. Backdrops of Fireworks for Nov, Christmas for Dec, snow for Jan, Valentines for Feb (or Pancakes !) , etc

On the photo comp. We should be able to post up pics of other members Zeds if we have taken them and they are happy.

Enjoy the Vulcan tomorrow. Hope you get that illusive pic. I'll have to settle for memories from now on. :(

Any notification of take off time for the northern loop?
I'm getting nagged to find out by an 87 year old ex RAF boy! He is desperate to see the flight over Durham - nothing, not even a hint on the web page .

Think its leaving Doncaster 1.05 pm , an I read somewhere due to be around Woodford about 3.10, subject to weather etc,

There is a flight plan for Saturday on their Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/VulcanXH558/timeline/?ref=name
leaves Doncaster at 13.00h.
Hoping it will be the same tomorrow for the southern flight.

Thanks for posting

Well i saw & heard it but no pics , i hung around on the tops overlooking Clitheroe & watched it fly down the valley & directly over the town but should have parked directly under its flightpath . I was too far away armed with only a iphone
A plane geek who stood nearby explained the significance of it passing over Clitheroe as the " Siddeley" connection . Apparantly they had a factory there :?

I went to see it on the Durham part of the flight. There were lot of people there to see it but it didn't follow the line on the map. It was a good distance from the viewing point.

Low enough , just too far away and as mr w, I only had an iPhone - even the pro guys with all their fancy gear would also be disappointed.
