Strange farewell tour - not a lot of coverage of Lincolnshire given that the county was the home of the Vulcan, and is known as "bomber county" due to its ties with bomber command.

The sunday south flight may cover that area & also pop over to Number5 as well

Mind you, it's just flown over my back garden with an escort of 9 spitfires and hurricanes

EDIT to add piccie:

Seems the plod are planning to scupper the days events if too many start flooding to Doncaster airport to watch the Vulcan leaving & return

Yeah, to be expected in the post-Shoreham world. I'd read that the trust is planning an event for their own staff (the engineers, families etc.) but won't be advertising it as the crowds of spotters at the end of the runway would cause the event to be cancelled.

Well the fly by route is out for the North and South. And Number5 will be pleased to know that its going over Bristol above the airport.
Cardiff airport is also included as is St. Athan's. Passes near airports are subject to A.T.C.
Times are expected to be PM but wont be announced until later Friday.
Is any one going to get together for this or is it an individual viewing?

Thats good news.
I may pop down to Bristol Docks for a bacon butty on the Sunday if the weathers good. It depends exactly where the Vulcan comes over town.

Ive been blessed as the route will go close to home over Pendle Hill towards Clitheroe then up the A59 to Rolls Royce at Barnoldswick before turning to follow a route over the Bowland fells via Bentham to the Lakes
Need to see the times now to decide where to head

Cheers Brian, If its going from Cardiff to Bristol, the Severn Estuary may be a good viewing point.

Looks like the flight path is along the channel but i'm not sure if it will be heading East or West at the moment. You may be better
off in work Alan and standing on the bridge.

I doubt I'll see it as it looks like Kent is early in the route, and we'll be at rugby :-(

Have I missed something? I can't see flight times on the maps.

They've posted minute times to all markers from the take off but as yet not posted the take off time :?
Pendle/Clitheroe for me is 100mins but kinda useless until they post the actual take off time

I can't see any times. - viewing on an iPad .
I would like to see this as the last Vulcan I saw flying was on its way into the drink!

Yeah, Ive suggested to the Bristol Crew that we get out near the Severn Estuary, park up for a coffee and wait for it to loop up around the bridges.
Not sure how many are game yet !
