Holy cow, ive just ordered my ess supercharger kit from ess!!!! im i nervous!!!!!!!!!!!????? not in the slightest!!!!
expect full detailed and full pictures of the install which will be at simpson motorsport!!! lots and lots of pics coming as soon as it arrives, also i will be doing some track testing i report back fully!!! my GTR is quivering in its boots..................................
 
Speaking of which - don't think we have seem pictures of that GTR. Where are they?
 
i think andys the only one thats seen her. when i get home ill post em up, currently in my office ;-)
 
I'm really excited about this!! Managed to get in on the group buy and get 10% off, the only thing the site didn't say was how long it will take to ship? Anyone got an idea how long it takes to recieve an item from Europe? I guess I'm the guinea pig?? Ow yehh best cancel my warranty...............lol

I'd be interested on your views on the GTR Beedub, especially in comparison to the M. Not just performace, but all round ownership.

I've been kicking around the idea of a change.

Your GTR will still be quicker esp. it its modded, unless you build your engine with lower compression and spin the blower at max. I was running this way (VT3 Gen 1) on my M3 vert and was still only doing 12.2s 1/4 miles @ 122 mph. admittedly the Z4 is a lot lighter than my `vert was.

when I added the VT450 to my vert before building the engine I gained 0.7s and 6mph over 1/4 mile at Santa Pod.

Wow good on you, how old is you're car? :)
 
Kryton the car is an 07 with 9600 miles, I've owned it from new. Can't wait, I've just had a message from ess, should be shipped hopefully today or tomorow, I thought it was Europe it's coming from, seems it's the USA, gutted!! Mite take a week, 445bhp in a z4m.......... It's guna rip!! I'm going to polish the brackets n charger as well............

Chet I'll get a figure wen I get chance to get to ess's invoice, I'm currently moving offices for the next week or so n moving alot of items from home office so I'm using my iPhone at present, I believe once it's all fitted it'll be around £4800. To get the 2 year unlimited warranty I must get it fitted at Simpson motorsport, no hardship as they have an excellent reputation.
