vt2 -500 upgrade kit porn!! big update!!!

aquazi, ive had this from new so its been easy to keep like this, ive only use it weekends and for the track :-)

thanks for the comments, shes looking great for 3.5 years old.

just pray for me these little niggles have now been sorted, its taken me 12 hours today to strip the thing to the guts!!

the ESS kit is perfect, honestly its so o.e.m fitting, it just needs someone willing to put in the time to move things around, its taken months and months of fettling to get it perfect.

Gosh. Shinyyyyyyy.

Don't beat urself up about the oil leak, considering the concept of what's going on here & how you're the first in the UK, I think you're doing incredibly well (:

Still can't wait to see it in front of mine at full tilt 8)

Cheers matey, ive got loads of stock parts so ask before you buy anything please :-) ill be out this sunday for a test run, i was pretty gutted about the leak turns out it was minor, even if i havent sorted it, i know were it is:-)

Car felt great today, sooooo fassstt!!

Heroic levels of cleaning, I'm not sure BMW even sold it that shiny! Looking an immense bit of kit, I hope to see some vmax videos next time you get the chance. Enjoy the car and looking forward to hear the reports!

Wow so clean, looks great.

Why have you never chnaged the shift knob? I haven't either, and I quite like it. I thought I would swap it for a ZHP knob as soon like I did with my 3.0, but haven't yet.

i love the stock shifter, it feels great to me, i like the lighted feature, i have no inclination to do away with it :-) i can pullcogs with it pretty quick too :-)

rodney you plonker..... one of the brake ducts is fitted like i was drunk, lol, arhh another job for the weekend :-)

first thrash sunday, then next week its actually competing in a proper sprint :-) i better win my class.

first drive after hopefully fixing the oil leak, i cant lie, im not confident, i really struggled to fit the oring in properly, so in the end i had to fit them onto the male end and tighten, i heard to pops as i torqued it down. For love nor money could i get the male end to fit in with the o rings placed INTO the female end, all it did was tear the orings....
we'll see, i cant see me having to do the above all over again.........
