Ess do a stage 3 kit runs 14psi ;-) so not to unlikely... im not pulling these figures from thin air ;-)

That is with a fully built motor.........

anyway im leaving as early as possible to get this thing. full update tomorrow after the car has been cleaned, im guessing its filthy after all the wet weather testing :-)

I think that was a typo from Peddy and he meant unlucky..... dont hink he was doubting you mate.

I amd certainly looking forward to seeing the results... with lots of build pics please

aquazi, yep was a typo... sorry for the confusion.

Fingers crossed. Would love to see this some day (soon!)

Beedub, I can alway 'read' your excitement in your posts... and it's just like a kid about to go and get a new toy!

Enjoy! :driving:

arhhh WOW!!!! lol

the car drives GREAT!!! and sooooooo powerful, i can REALLY hear that supercharger spooling now, sounds awesome, the blow off noises are REALLY noticable, power wise the car feels very powerful, much stronger than the vt1.

Sadly the plastic s/c intake got pretty badly damaged which is was pretty upset about to be honest, but simpson offered to replace the parts so will be ordering me a new one asap :-)

The gauges..... look CLASS!! let me take some pics and get back to you guys asap....

Another big boo boo is the cars fueling adaptions have been reset, so the car needs time to reset/ relearn fueling, my AFRs are slightly out at the moment so i need to keep an eye on them.

ALL in all very happy, rather dissapointed with my damaged intake as it looks pants :-( but at least they are putting it right and didnt argue about it at all, simpson Well done.

inspect 1 done

Fast road alignment with -2.25 neg camber, understeer is nearly GONE!!!

Beedub, We really need some videos now... You've teased us enough especially as we didn't really get any with the VT1. Maybe a video against a stock M3/Z4M would show us what it really is!

What do we want?... VIDEOS! when do we want it!?... NOW! LOL

Tiny pulley now :-)

Peddy thers are loads of vt1 clips!!!!!!

Good god this car is quick!!!!

car made 500 with reset adaptions, it'll be nearer the 505-510 mark after a few hunderd miles so it can re-adapt............

i need to get some advice from ESS as either my New AFR gauge is fauty or i have a problem...... more to update shortly :-)

gutted about my S/C intake, it looks a mess. simpson have done a BRILLIANT job but the damage to the intake is careless imo.

The car however feels absolutly MEGA on the road, jesus christ its fast.

Gauges look great

I think a standard ///M is too quick for the roads these days, yours must be insane

Beedub, whats the AFR gauge showing ?

It should read lean under all but hard acceleration. The 2 tunes I had (460HP and 600HP) were both pretty consistent at 11.7ish on a WOT. The problem with digital gauges is that they`re too acurate and dance about too much. I`m sure Ant would`ve logged the Lambda on the Dyno `tho ?

yeah mike its reading 11.9, i had a faulty sender!!

ow man i just spent an hour writing a review with pics and it hasnt posted!!!! lol FML!!

Also i need to get the bumper off, it seems i may have an engine oil look from the connection that mates the oil cooler lines to the stock lines........

simpson have done a great job on most things but coupled with my engine oil leak and damaged intake, i can honestly say im alittle dissapointed with things this time round.......

Stuff like that will always happen as it goes through a few heat cycles. I had to do something similar yesterday on an install done by a main Lotus dealer. In an ideal world we'd have them do a few hundred miles in the finished car but most of us are too keen to get hem back. LOL

It'll give you chance to have a good clean while the bumpers off ! :D

yeah mike thursday will be the day i sort this, at the same time im going to do a serious under bumper area clean, im going to purchase new o-rings for the oil cooler as well, i may just fit these new items to ensure i dont have any future problems.

what happened with your car @ the dealer??? what was leaking and what work was done??

mike simpson offered to come and collect my poorly car witht heir truck, which was an awsome offer, i declined and said ill do this myself on thursday but if theirs a problem they can collect the car.
They also offered to send my some tws for oil lost :-)

as long as this is a simple issue, ill have it sorted thursday and ill have a serious clean in the under bumper area to my bufty standards!! nit of a ball ache though :-(

Simillar to you really, a clamp had worked loose after a few heat cycles (I had a power upgrade/bigger intercooler/new exhaust fitted). Easy fix but a pain to get to as I had take the undertrays/diffuser off and the car`s too low for my ramps.

Par for the course really with modded cars, `tho the wifes never happy when a simple job means spending hours in the garage at weekends. :P

Did you make Vmax yesterday ?

Yes but unfortunatly not with my z4, these little niggles caused me to loose out on vmax and the photo shoot afterwards :-( gutted.

Thursday after the retorque ( while im ther ill disconnect the lines and replace orings )and clean up ill be taking lots of pics!! And finally a very detailed review.
The power is just insane, the car feels great, it really does. Next mod is turning to the interior and a carbon varis bonnet painted silver with the vents left silver.
