VSCC Curborough

I had an invite to the VSCC meeting at Curborough on Sunday, so it seemed a shame not to go :D

Thought you might like to see some of the snaps I took. There was everything on track and in the paddock from 27 litre lands speed car to beautiful Bugatti’s, long lost makes, etc.

Of special interest even some Frazer Nash BMW’s. I was pleased to be allowed into the reserved are amongst some classy motors and surprised how much attention.

It's great seeing the used in anger on the track  , but it's really awful when you have an incident to attend involving one of them as you know it's going to cost loads to fix

Yes it is a shmae when they crash. Only saw one yesterday and he got away with a broken rim as the tyre came off on the bottom hairpin.

Still looking at some of the cars/owners I feel they can well afford a few ££'s of repair bills

Heard about this as someone I know was going. Looks like some very interesting and rare cars.

Some great cars there. Hopefully not embarrassing myself too much here, what is the rocket-shaped thing on top of this one, not the fuel tank?

Don't think so Mike as the fuel is in a tank under the seat, but I stand to be corrected.

I can tell you it's a Darracq 200 from 1905 and a mere 24.4litre. Land speed record car

Some awesome pics, thanks for posting. Cars were cars when those beauties were on the roads originally!
