Vreds Inbound!

After much forum digging I've finally ordered some Vreds for the 3.0Si Coupe

438 inc VAT for the whole set from tyremen.co.uk

Can't wait to get rid of these RFT's! :driving:

Next step.... Stubby and Quad. Should of done all this 6 months ago :D

I could only afford the back! Cant wait! woop woop.... Fronts will follow in spring.

Are you still running RFT's on the front? I've heard swapping the fronts first make the biggest difference in terms of tramlining etc!

Yes - but backs are slick and failed MOT so needs must...

I hadn't considered blue previously, I was always dead set on getting a black Z4C, but I must say your photo may have just given me a dilemma! Very nice sir.

Looking forward to hearing your view son the Vreds.

Ah yes, I do love the Sepang Bronze, but fear I am too impatient to hang around long enough for one to become available.

Yep, I could definitely see myself in that :driving:

I almost had a heart attack when I spotted the sponge! Then I saw another!

Great colour, car looks fantastic.

That's interesting. You reckon I could change just the fronts to begin with and leave the RFT 's on the rear until they need to be changed. Vreds here we come :D

It would appear so, I've seen a few threads where people have not been impressed with the results of just changing the rears (to which people on this forum have said its the fronts that will see the biggest improvement from tramlining especially). I have not seen this first hand but it makes sense :D

I don't know about you guys, but being chucked about on the inside lane due to tramlining in the snow is an unnerving experience

I hate the tram lining its just that the RFT's are quite new so need to slowly introduce diff tyres without er indoors noticing. So yeah think ill try fronts first. Cheers.

That's a great price for 4 tyres

It is but don't forget most places charge around £12=14 a corner to strip, fit, balance and dispose, so at least another £50 (ish) on top for fitting
