Vredestein vs Dunlop

Hi all, anyone got any experience of the Vredestein tyres. Ultra satin.

I have been offered these x 4 for 360 or Dunlop sport maxx rt2 for 425.

Anyone have any advice or thoughts for a remapped e89 z4 2.0 c. 250bhp

I haven't tried the Vreds but they produce a quality product, especially for winter.

Dunlop RT2s are excellent, I ran them on a company car and found them quiet, offered exceptional grip in both the wet and dry.

As a bonus I also managed over 25K miles for the set which I was very pleased with.

Go for the remap. You will not regret it!

sorry wasn't clear, the car is already mapped! mid box delete, spacers and m3 csl wheels!

on the michelin point, no, no reason ?? just haven't come across is my search .... i assume you recommend

I have vredestein ultrac vorti's on my Z4. very happy with them.

I haven't seen ultrac satin in the wider rear fitment. where are you looking? or are you running a square set-up?

Previously had Vreds on, great tyres for the money. Wear rate seemed faster that the MPSS that I have used since. Never tried Dunlops so can't comment there.

Another Vred supporter Ran Ultrac Vorti's great tyres, at present on Michelin PS4's but would have no problem going back to Vred's

I had Vred Ultrac Vorti's on my caddy, Great tyre with great feedback, but they didn't last long unfortunately

Vreds are brilliant, i mean brilliant. I used to run Toyos which were good but a bit behind the times of new tyre technology.

Happy to recommend and at 80 quid a corner an absolute bargain.

+1. Same scenario as tyreman, ran them on a company car and found them to be pretty damn good. Never ran Vred so cant compare but the Dunlops get a
That said the Michelin PS4 seems to be universally regarding as the best out there at the moment, so if you can stretch to them that's what i'd go for.
