Just bought four of the above from www.reifen.com.
2x 225/45/18 + 2x 255/40/18 all in including delivery £542.85.
Have been shopping about and doing a bit of phoning as well but couldnt get any stock on the 225's.
Seems like a very good price to me :D :D

Well done for finding some. I gave up searching last month and went for Falkens instead £429 delivered for 4.

I really like mine ............ but I've always liked vredestein's I've had fitted on other cars....

I'm sure you'll enjoy them

A bought mine from camskill in the autumn, I think the Vreds were about £440 delived and there was little difference in price between them and the 452s. The rears have gone up by nearly £30 a tyre since then by the looks of things.
I certainly love the way my Z improved as soon as I ditched the runflats for the Vreds. :driving:

Have already had them on my previous car which was a Focus ST,found them to be very good in the wet and the dry.
Hopefully i will be as pleased with them on the M.Dont know why they are in such short supply, surely Vredestein should be chucking them out the door as fast as they can make them.
Anyway i am in no rush for them to arrive as i am back at work for 3 weeks from next tuesday and have still to get my summer wheels refurbed, hope Lepsons to a good job.

You have to search around a bit but I managed to get a set (255/35 & 225/40) from http://www.tyremen.co.uk for £428 incl delivery.

I have done maybe 2k miles in mine now.. and they ride fantastic in the wet and dry.. not so well in snow though

Got mine from there, way cheaper than anywhere else and they had the stock too.

Checked out tyremen site before ordering from Reifen.com.Tyremen were £618 for the sizes i needed plus delivery.
Thats £90 dearer.Think thats a wee bit of a bargain.

Yes, just noticed that you didn't go for standard profiles. Strange that higher profile is much more expensive.

I've had three sets of these ( two on a 5 series and 1 on a zed), and they are probably the best tyres for the price I've ever had. Quiet, very grippy in the dry and good in the wet, and they look really good! One reservation, though - teamed up with a RWD car, they are absolutely crap on snow!

Reifen are German right? If so will you not incur import duty/taxes upon delivery?

I'm after a set for my Z4MC too and trying to check out the cheapest place...

Craig

No mention of import duty that i am aware of.Bought 2 sets of winters from mytyres last year and they came from Germany never payed any import on them.

All countries within the EU can trade without worrying about import/export taxes. However, you will have to pay the VAT in the country you bought from - which I think is 19% in Germany.

VAT should be included in the price. I got my last 2 sets from Reifen Direkt too.

Got 2x 255/35/18 Ultrac Sessanta from here just before christmas (www.performancealloys.com) @ £133 each. Just checked and look to still have stock...also 225/40/18 for £112 each.

Couldn't get 225s for the front so ended up with Toyos front.

First set of non-runflats I've had on it and pretty happy so far. Only down side is space saver takes alot of boot space so cant get golf clubs in.
