Vred Sessanta Dilemma

Yeah, thinking about it it's probably wise to do one more round with the Sessanta's...

Another 8,000 miles will hopefully leave the fronts and one rear ready to scrap, and the other rear half way through it's life and saleable. Then the PSS's can go on :)

Oponeo & Tyre Leader both come in at the cheapest, had no problems with Oponeo before but on the phone they said the tyres could be up to 2 years old which was a bit off putting. Don't know anything about Tyre Leader tbh.

When ever I have had this issue I have replaced both, and put the part worn into storage in case of a puncture, and then have a reasonable chance of being close tot he tread depth. Presently have a Pzero in stock for the Audi with 5mm tread. In future I would consider a matched part worn one from Ebay then new once both warn out.

Just got the new Vred from Tyre Leader, not happy, date is 0113

Does it matter much though as you wear them out in a year or so?

No I suppose not, just like to have them as fresh as possible. Now need to go and get them scrubbed in for the first meet of 2015 :driving:

matters even less if they've been stored inside/out of contact with UV light as it is that that deteriorates the rubber...
