Vorshlag Camber Plates?

As the title says. I'm considering doing this as one of my next upgrades.

Talking to fellow Z4M owners, dialing out the front camber really helps eliminate virtually all understeer. And with new tires, I want none at all...I HATE understeer (I just ordered 235/265 RS3s)

I only have a couple concerns. Are these really easily adjustable. I don't want to be DDing on -3.5 Camber. I figured I would set my camber the night before and drive there and back...then put it back to stock-ish settings. Is that easy enough to do?

I know this will put me to BSP, I'm not too concerned with it.

Anything is helpful, thanks

Not sure about the particular brand of camber plates (although they seem to be very well respected) but I talked to one of my Z4 associates (non-M) at autocross about a month ago and he said his camber plates made a huge difference and eliminated all understeer. That convinced me that I need to do the same but I haven't found the money yet. But I'm sorry I don't know what brand he had (I don't think they were Vorshlag) nor do I know what the level of adjustment was. -3.5 degrees sounds like enough though. But like you said, the ease of adjustment is a factor. (I already spend enough time swapping wheels for autocross.) I've heard Vorshlag has great customer service, so you might give them a call and let them talk you through the adjustment process to see if you are comfortable with it.

Good idea. That very well might be a deciding factor...their customer service.

And I know what you mean when it comes to swapping wheels. Even though I don't run on R-Comps (yet). I have a dedicated set for RS3s I throw on each time.

Camber plates will probably be my next mod too. I have a friend with a CSL whose only suspension modification was camber plates for a long while and he told me it transformed the car. As for the brand you mentioned i have read a few positive posts about them on other forums but i've had no personal experience myself.

Please do keep us updated though!

You hate understeer?

Honestly, unless you're a real damn good driver with plenty of experience a real quick with that steering wheel and sensitive right foot...

Useful mod for the track, a liability on the road me thinks.

That understeer (albeit exagerated slightly on the Z4M) is what keeps the most of us out of the hedges. Not sure whether TC and ESP would behave normally either after that either.

Yes, understeer sucks. I'd rather have an oversteer car while autocrossing.

The ability for adjustment is key. You dial out the wheels before autocrossing and track...and then you dial them back to OEM specs afterwards. I would never run -3.5 on the road.

I at least kill TC while doing my events...so I'm not worried on what will happen.
