Volume level gauge

As per title really, on my F30 and other cars there is a symbol that comes up with a volume level 0---?? when you change it up or down, there isn't one on my E89, does it not exist on the E89?
 
I haven’t seen it if it does exist. To be honest I’m glad it’s not there as that is one of those things that trips my OCD switch and I always have to have an even number or a 5 i.e. 22 - 24 - 25 - 26 - 28 etc.

:D i know what you mean, i am the same, but it would be nice to see how much volume i have left!
 
I just assumed that it’s because the iDrive system is a bit on the old side on the E89, so didn’t have this feature?
