Volk TE37 and BMW 224 wheels

I've ended up with too many wheels and I need the space back so these two sets are for sale.

First a set BMW 224's (will have pictures when I'm home in a few days).

They have a few curb marks but are straight and true. They have been refurbished about 3 years ago in the original finish.

Come with worn Pilot Sport tyres.

£450 ONO + postage

Next a very rare set of genuine Volk TE37 in anodized bronze finish. They were bought and shipped over from Japan when I spotted them for sale. They're again straight and true but have some brake dust ingrained into the anodized finish which I haven't tried to clean/refurbish as I want to preserve the original finish. No tyres included with these, come with the original Volk blue alloy valves and valve caps.

These are some of the best, lightest and strongest wheels available anywhere.

£1400 ono + postage (these are over £3000 new)

Front wheels are 18 x 8.5 ET35
Rear wheels are 18 x 9.5 ET42

Straight fit onto non M and spacer needed for the rears on M's.

Some idea of what they look like on the E85 platform.

The Volks are lovely. Very similar to Bola B1, which looks incredible in bronze on a Sterling Grey/Silvery Grey car!

Best of luck

Any possibility of close up photos of the imperfections? Which part of the country are you in?

Could be interested in the 224's. Where abouts are you based? When you say part worn, is there useable tread left or will it just see me to the nearest tyre garage? Depths and pics please :D

I'm very interested in the 224's.
A little more info / photos would be great
I could collect with a van and the cash depending on your location (I'm in Staffordshire)

I’m based near Aberystwyth in West Wales. The tyres on the 224’s are near the legal limit on the rear and I will have to check the fronts.

Earliest I can do photos would be a week today I’m afraid as I’ll be abroad for the next week.

That being the case, will kis (224's) and I (Volks) have first refusal as we were first with the request for the photos?
Thanks

If I'm able to get home tonight then I'll forward both pictures of both sets tonight otherwise it will be next Wednesday.

Thanks for the interest.

Pictures for those who requested them.

The rear PS3's on the 224's are pretty low on treat, fronts look fine. I can only really see one small area of kerb rash.

The Volks are in very good condition with no chips, marks. The little white flecks are just where the decals have come off. They're 100% authentic with the originals stickers etc on the inside barrels. I even have the cloth covers that came with them and possibly some of the tags.

Also, do you know the size of spacer required for the Volks on an ///M? I’m very tempted...
If I buy them, they’ll be shipped to Sydney making them perhaps the furthest travelled wheels in the world :D

Edit: I might have answered my own question, I think it would need an 18mm spacer to match stock inboard clearance

The OEM 224 are ET30 so these need a 12mm spacer rear to bring them to the same offset. I'm running KW V3's at standard height on my Z4M and there was plenty of clearance with a 12mm spacer. The fronts are a perfect fit with no spacers. Would look fantastic on your blue M.

For anyone wondering these are forged racing spec wheels, not cast or flow formed.

I'm based near Aberystwyth in West Wales but happy to travel as I tend to be on the road a fair amount at the moment.

I calculated 12mm for the change in offset and a further 6mm for the extra 0.5” in width over OEM.
I didn’t appreciate you have an ///M with KW suspension, so you know exactly how well they’ll fit my car!
I’ll send you a PM
