Voice control - Connectivity Pack?

Hi,

I have discovered that my E89 has voice-control this morning, even though it's not in the spec. I have the connectivity package so assume that it came wrapped up a part of that.

Probably worth anyone else who did not believe that that have it checking. If you save a contact to the car (not just on the phone), then use the voice button on the steering wheel to 'save name'. The car should prompt you from there.

Mine definitely works! - bonus! :). I can now dial names from contacts by voice.

Also discovered taht if I press the open button twice and then grab the door handle to open the door then the window goes down to allow easier access. I had this on my old coupe but was not aware of it on the E89 (holding the button would have opened the roof instead :x ).

New things being learned every day :D

... oh yes, and I got 43.4 mpg on a combined cycle to and from work last week. for a 3.0 car that's pretty amazing!

Yes. But it is only for telephone, nothing else. I think full voice control can change radio, temperature, etc as well.

Doh  I never realised that either. Thought I was suffering from "dropping window" syndrome like my old TTR. As you say, Zed Five you learn something every day :D
