I just got a text from Vodafone saying they are giving me a FREE pair of Flip-flops from Primark up to the value of £1.30 as it's 'feel good Friday', apparently!

How generous are they?

I have only had a contracted phone account with them continuously since 1992 (three phones on the contract for the last 15 years) and have paid them around £30,000 in that time. £1.30 is a more than generous offer IMO.

I have also never owned, or worn, any flip-flops and never will. Shame really! :D

So I would highly recommend Vodafone. In 32 years you too could get a £1.30 gift (there are conditions though, even then).

You have to wear them on your feet?
 
Read the small print, you are allowed to sell them at a loss after 6 months and buy another pair, every six months for life.

It is a customer tailored deal.
 
You have conveniently omitted all the other deals you get EVERY Friday. Never much: a free Costa coffee. A free subway etc, but they add up to a little more over time than just £1:30.

I have never been offered ANYTHING free from Vodafone (even with conditions), in over 30 years.
