Hi Guys,

I noticed these wheels are very similar to CSL's, and having seen them on RichardG's car I think they look great.

Where is the best place to get a set?

Please note, I have no idea about offsets etc, all i know is I know is I want them in 19''s and wrapped with non RFT's

Cheers

Wouldn't mind a set of Dymags though...although finding the £4.5k might be diffifult.

I gotta say, that is not a nice looking wheel. I would prefer a set of old skool 3 spokes !!!!

Wouldnt it be cheaper getting some replicas (should i even dare say this word!) from somewhere like bmautosport?

This is indeed where I got mine from, they took 6 - 7 weeks to turn up, I was just at the point of cancelling the order fearing the worst and having paid in full they expect 50% deposit before ordering IIRC, I had sent them e-mail that week stating if the wheels were'nt in my pocession by the end of that week I expected a full refund, I know of one other forum member who ended up taking them to the small claims court as his wheels (different ones) never turned up.

I you can get some cast iron assurances about delivery out of them it should be Ok, otherwise I'm afraid its hunting on the web, or trying direct to VMR in the states.

Anyway if you decide to go for it the sizes I went for where 19x8.5 ET35 Front and 19x9.5 ET45 finished in Hyper Silver, fitted with Falken 452's 235/35/19 Front, 265/30/19 Rear.

They cost me about £1500 delivered to my door, ready to go on the car which they did in about 5mins of the postman dropping them off.

richardg those wheels do look cool. similar to csl's but a little more open looking.

as for the carbon fibre wheel, yes to the carbon, no to the style

Just looking for something else and decided for no good reason to see what wheels they offered and low and behold http://www.mstyle.co.uk/acatalog/BMW_Z_Z4_Z4M_VMR.html available from M Style and possibly a bit cheaper than Designer wheels, but that could change once you add postage and maybe better tyres. I don't know what tyres he would supply them with, but his wheel only price combined with what I got quoted for Falken's from a local supplier is roughly what I paid ready to go.
