VMR V703

Good morning,

8.5x19 ET 40 front 225/35
9.5x19 ET 33 or ET 45 265/30
I can buy rear wheels with ET 33 or 45. I do not want any rubbing. Car with B12 pro kit, thus it is lowered 30 mm.
Everything is correct here?
 
If it's an E89 then the ET33 rears will rub on the fender with that drop.

Personally I would avoid any VMR wheels like the plague. I had a set of V710s and they bent really easily (the chap who repaired it first time commented on how soft and malleable they were), the finish was rough and after around 2 years the paintwork started to bubble around the centre caps and valve stems. They are also heavy thanks to the cast construction.

If you don't want to pay a premium for forged wheels I would look into some that uses "flow formed" construction. It's a good compromise between weight and price.

I'm afraid your wrong. There's a lad on my Instagram who is on h&r suspension and et27 (so 5mm more aggressive) m359 wheels 9.5j wide and clears the wing no ptoblem

E89 & E85 though J , , any E89 lowered will rub with 9.5j offsets under e35 unless seriously stretched rubber , the rear arch liner protrudes done with a defined edge , crazy design , never seen it on any other cars

I know it will rub because my V710 were ET33 and rubbed under compression without my car being lowered.

Sure Steve Smith is on 265 rears n 9.5 ET27 M359s no? the arch liner can be modified with relative ease :P
 
Tyre size would be crucial , i had rubbing with 255 35 19 on 9.5j et 35 with H&R dropped 35i , once raised it didn't rub same set up , its very minimal but rub is rub & i can't tolerate it :D

Then again, these are standard tyre sizes to Aplina roadster S (ET 50 on front and rear) and M3 CSL, that is why I am curious.

225 35 fronts or even 215 35 but 235 35 19 on 8.5j et 40 could get some minor chaffing on compression / full lock with a Si
Rears should be no problem on above numbers
