Visual difference

What is the difference that can be seen while driving down the road between the 06- 07 Z4 other than they also come in ///M and coupe and si versions? The 06-07's have the different tail lights and the different front reflectors at the wheelwells.

Maybe they are like the 03-04 Z4's and have no difference?

Look carefully at the opening below front grille as well - they changed the round fog lights to a bar shaped piece at the top of the opening. The grille opening shape also changed to accommodate this.

Both the 06-07 have those type fog lamps don't they?

Yup - I don't think there are any visible differences between the '06 and '07 models unless you look at the plate inside of the door with the date on it.

I don't think there's much difference either. In fact, not much difference btw the pre- and post-facelift IMHO except for those tail lights.

I know the the 05 has a reflector on the bumper in front where the 03-04 does not. The 05 also came stock with a clear trunk stop light. That clear rear light can be changed, so it is not a good indicator of the year.

I was just looking for an exterior difference on the 06-07.

I thought the '07 si's had a different wheel vs. the '06's. At least I remember a few members from Z4um said they were surprised by the different wheels they received when they got the car (compared to the order spec).

I just looked at the brochure, and it's got a lot of wheel options! AlanL, you've got the #203s on your car, but it also lists #108s, #200s, #201s, and #105s.

I guess I had no choice other than my M Spokes.

07 also has the sensors on the wheels rather then the 06 who has them on the abs.

07 also has the AUX port standard (on the M at least) whilst the 06 did not

When did the 07 model come in then? I am going to pick it up an Saturday (Z4M coupe) and i had assumed it had an AUX port already? It is a Nov 06 car.

That would be september/october 2006 when the 07 model came in - so you should be ok
