Viper engines are heavy relatively low specific output engines.
If one has to abuse a Z4MC, I'd have chosen a Toyota 2JZ engine out of a Supra. And you wouldn't have to settle for a measly 500 bhp - they are getting 700 - 1000 bhp modded. It would also look right, being a straight 6. A lot more bang fir a lot less weight.
