just loaded yesterday and was on the M5 at Exeter on my way to London when I was overtaken by two pairs of police motorcycles, then another two who were doing in excess of a hundred as I was doing 75, then two unmarked cars with plain clothes guys and blue lights then a range rover , pos another then two more cars and another 3 or 4 bikes all boxing in the range rover, just curious who it could have been, I know the environment minister was in somerser re the floods but this was further down, they all exited the mway at 29 for Honiton maybe to the police hq at heavytree.would really like to know just wh can be that important that it takes twenty officers and 5 or six vehicles to escort them, feel like doing a freedom of information request, what a waste of time , money and resources, let alone the carbon footprint, saw nick cleg a few week bak in a similar convoy on the embankment in London, just amazes me why we put up with these abuses of power by the ruling elite. surely no one is that important. 
I bet that was my mate gary jane in amongst it somewhere then !
