Vinyl Wrap

Evening all.

My impulsive thought for this evening is that I may have the Z4MC wrapped. However, as with everything, I have a few worries/thoughts.

Has anyone on here done this? I would just like to be sure it won't damage the paint underneath as any future owner may want to restore it to the factory paint.

Also, is there any likelihood of paint damage during application? I would like to think these guys would know what they are doing, but am aware that anyone could buy the vinyl and claim to be a pro.

Also, just keen to hear the thoughts of you guys on this in general!

Had both my own & son's roof done by the same guy who had previously done rear windows for me & no issues Re damage or bubbling .
On a 330 tourer i had done i removed it prior to sale with a hair dryer & it was all off & polished up in 25 mins .
Depends on car colour but can enhance the looks + its relatively quick & cheap to do .
I paid £90 for the 3 series roof with spoiler incl , my son's Golf was a little less

My car is currently an awesome Ruby Black, but I just fancy a change tbh. Plus, it is reversible if I choose to sell the car on.

Wow that's cheap - never knew it was that cheap.. I was contemplating my roof/mirrors but assumed it'd be money down the drain, however at that price id be interested just to see what it looks like!

I was quoted $4,500 Australian for full wrap in gloss white of my coupe.
For me I think it best for now to concentrate on suspension mods but the fact you can peel off the wrap if you want to return to original does appeal
