VIN numbers

A silly question probably but does listing your VIN on here cause a problem the same way number plates does? Was wondering if a log of the VINs would be interesting :?

I think it's best not to list although each cars VIN is clearly on display in our windscreens.

Ive hidden mine on bmwregistry.com as I see you have also. :wink:

Yeah I did that to be on the safe side without knowing whether it was really necessary

We have two VINs for Alpinas, the BMW one (as shown on the windscreen) and the Alpina one (only seen in the engine bay). I don't advertise either one publicly. Registration plates, as they're always on show, I'm not so particular about. You hear about cloning, but as there are only 7 RHD Alpinas in "helrot" red, its a pretty small group...
