VIN From Numberplate?

Hi all

I am considering buying RA04AAJ (it's a 2.2 mark 1) and would really appreciate if someone could lookup the VIN for me please or alternatively show me how this can be done as I'd really like the spec sheet?

I have tried going through the BMW warranty method, but it seems to not show the VIN anymore

I didn’t think you could get the VIN number from just the reg.
Maybe I’m wrong and I will wait to be corrected!!
 
I wouldn't have thought so either. Why not ask the seller for the VIN or for him to punch it in and provide you with the spec sheet?
 
You used to be able to do this by going on to a spare parts website, entering your registration number and then looking at the source code. However, this has now been curtailed as it was being used for nefarious reasons. 🙄

Not sure if you've got the info you want but it should be: WBABT12090LP79087
