Viewing Advice Welcome

Hi Everyone

Was planning to hold out until Autume in order to get my first Zed for softer prices but have spotted an early (2004) 2.5L with low mileage for under 5k, so will be viewing the car this coming week with a view to buy.

If any members have upgraded from the pre-facelift to the newer model, any advice on the differences will be greatly accepted and taken on board when viewing. I know cosmetically the lights are more modern, and the 2.5L comes in two forms with the 2.5si the more powerful of the two. If there are any other details which i should put on my check list then please let me know, as the car is just under 200 miles away so i need to be thorough!

The 2.5 engines in the pre facelift are M54 where as both 2.5 versions in the facelift are N52, so they are completely different.

Other than that a bit more sound deadening, styling changes as already mentioned but ver little else.

Only other thing I can think of is that all engine choices came in either SE or Sport trim levels after facelift instead of just SE on the pre facelift.
